What’s new with the Crown Land Use Policy Atlas?
In March of 2009 a number of enhancements were made to the Crown Land Use Policy Atlas.
Key Highlights for the Map Browser Include:
Addition of White Feather Forest and adjacent areas in the Far North
Enhanced colours and more defined borders for land use areas
Railway and power lines
New layer features including more on/off tags
Map Browser loading Status Bar
Increased speed for the retrieval of records
Increased accuracy in the alignment of water layers
Enhanced email and print map functions
New Dynamic legend
Key Highlights of the Policy Report Search Tool include:
Enhanced Search Tool Appearance
Area ID and Area Name fields now operate as a “contains” field
Overlay designations are now searchable and are included in the search results
Increased speed for record retrieval
Clearer presentation of results
Policy Reports for Protected Areas now include Park Zones.
